Additional Competency Training and Work Competency Certification Test (SKK) for Fresh Graduates at Udayana University

The Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University held an Additional Competency Training and Work Competency Certification Test (SKK) for fresh graduates from all study programs within the faculty. The training took place from August 4-8, 2025, at the Civil Engineering Building at Udayana University.

A total of 100 participants participated in the training, divided into two job positions: Junior Experts in Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Construction and Junior Experts in Building Engineering. The goal of this training was to provide additional training and official certification to new graduates to better prepare them for the workforce, particularly in the construction and building sectors.

This event was especially noteworthy because it was opened by the Director of Construction Workforce Competency and Productivity, Directorate General of Construction Development, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Ir. Kimron Manik, M.Sc., who provided guidance on the importance of improving the competency of the national construction workforce and the strategic role of the younger generation in Indonesia's infrastructure development. He also added that he would encourage stakeholders to implement CSR programs so that more Udayana University graduates would be certified in the future.

With this initiative, the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University demonstrates its commitment to supporting graduate quality improvement by strengthening professional competencies and facilitating certifications relevant to current industry needs.
