Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Udayana Comparative Study to Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Study Program, Bandung Institute of Technology
The Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University is a new study program that was established on June 25, 2019 based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 500/KPT/2019 concerning Permits for Opening of Industrial Engineering Study Programs for Undergraduate Programs at Udayana University in Badung Regency. The Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University has a vision, "To create a higher education institution that can implement the Tridharma of Higher Education that is quality, cultured, supports sustainable development and has global competitiveness." As an effort, the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University has four missions, namely: 1) providing quality higher education and producing graduates who have high morals/ethics/morals and integrity in accordance with the demands of local, national, and international communities; 2) develop research and community service in accordance with the interests of society and the nation; 3) empowering Udayana University as an institution that produces and develops knowledge, technology, and culture that can be utilized for the welfare of the community; and 4) produce innovative and prospective works for the advancement of Udayana University and the national economy.
As a form of external quality assurance, the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University has followed the accreditation process and received a Good rating based on BAN-PT Decree no. 13617/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/XII/2021. In an effort to improve and improve the quality of the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, it is necessary to conduct a comparative study to study programs with the same clump of knowledge to learn good practices that can be adopted into the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. For this reason, it is planned to conduct comparative studies to the Industrial Engineering Bachelor Study Program, Bandung Institute of Technology. Considering that Industrial Engineering ITB is the oldest study program in Indonesia that focuses on the field of Industrial Engineering and sees rapid developments in the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
The activity will be held on 29 – 31 August 2022 at the Matthias Aroef Building, Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University assigned Dr. Anak Agung Wife Agung Sri Komaladewi, S.T., M.T. and Ni Luh Putu Lilis Sinta Setiawati, S.T., M.T. Then from the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, ST., M.Eng., Ph.D. as Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology ITB.
Based on a comparative study conducted at the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, ITB, there are several important related results, namely the Implementation of the Independent Learning Program for the Independent Campus, Management of Expertise Groups in Industrial Engineering, ITB, Learning and Practicum Processes in the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Implementation of Capstone Design Courses, Quality Control Group Activities, Tridharma Cooperation of Higher Education.
UDAYANA UNIVERSITY
