Expanding Educational Cooperation, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University Held Handover of Student Exchange to Universitas Brawijaya
Following up on one of the activities of the Independent Campus Competition Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held the handover of students from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program in the student exchange program to the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya. This handover activity was held at the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, on September 7, 2022.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya, Prof. Ir. Hadi Suyono, S.T., MT., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., expressed his gratitude that the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University has chosen the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya in implementing this student exchange program. He hopes that students who take part in this student exchange will not only learn about academics in lectures but can also learn about the academic atmosphere at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya, access to discussions with lecturers, management of student organizations, and many things that might be useful in improve the quality of learning in the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya also instructed the Head of Department and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program Universitas Brawijaya to find the best student exchange program from Udayana University.
According to Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., PhD., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, that this program is also a follow-up to the MoU of five architectural architectures that are members of a consortium in implementing Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka, which consists of Udayana University, Brawijaya University, Hasanuddin University, Mulawarman University and North Sumatra University. In this student exchange program, five students from Udayana University will attend full lectures at Brawijaya University for one semester. In the learning process, each student will take as many as 20 credits as part of the Merdeka Learning activities at the Merdeka Campus. Dr.Ir. I Putu Lokantara, MT., as the coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, added that this year the student exchange activity for the Mechanical Engineering Study Program was not only held in the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya was also held in the Mechanical Engineering Study Program. At the student handover ceremony in this program, Prof. I Nyoman Suprapta Winaya, ST., MASc., PhD, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, who is also the chairman of the committee for preparing the Fast Track program at Udayana University on the implementation of the Fast Track program at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya and the obstacles faced. Meanwhile, Dr. Eng. Made Sucipta, ST., MT., Chair of the Senate of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University who is also a member of the team for the preparation of the Udayana University RPJP towards PTN-BH also applies the mechanism for the establishment and disbandment of study programs and governance organizations at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya, as one of the universities that have implemented the PTN BH management system.
