Faculty of Engineering Holds 159th Judicial Period with the theme of Improving the Entrepreneurial Spirit

The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University again held a graduation ceremony for its 159th period graduates which took place on Wednesday 17 April 2024. Located in Meeting Room II, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Jimbaran campus, the event became a stage for 98 graduates who were ready to start a new step in their careers. With a theme that carries the spirit of entrepreneurship, this graduation is an important milestone in preparing graduates for real world challenges.

The graduates released consisted of 74 graduates and 24 female graduates, representing various study programs at the Faculty of Engineering. Starting from a Doctor of Engineering Science to a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering, each study program makes a valuable contribution in producing quality human resources.

Of the 98 graduates released, their distribution covered various study programs. The Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program had the largest number with 34 graduates, followed by the Electrical Engineering Study Program with 27 graduates, and the Information Technology Undergraduate Study Program with 15 graduates. Meanwhile, the Doctoral Engineering Study Program and the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Study Program only contributed 2 and 3 graduates respectively.

Their achievements are reflected in the titles they achieve. A total of 22 graduates received the title "With Commendations", 54 graduates received the title "Very Satisfactory", 11 graduates received the title "Satisfactory", and 1 graduate received the title "Fair".

At this event, the best graduate awards were given to those who demonstrated brilliant achievements. Dr. Ir. Pande Ketut Sudiarta, M.Erg from the Engineering Science Doctoral Study Program, I Wayan Eka Krisna Putra, S. Kom, M. T. from the Electrical Engineering Master's Study Program, and Anak Agung Gede Angga Dwipradipta, S. T. from the Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, were the graduate winners best with extraordinary academic achievements.

The graduation event was also enlivened by a sharing session from Information Technology alumni, Gede Hadi Surya, who shared experiences about entrepreneurship and start-ups. This is an inspiring moment for graduates to explore various opportunities and challenges in the business world.

With an entrepreneurial spirit instilled, it is hoped that graduates of the Faculty of Engineering can become agents of change who encourage innovation and progress in various industrial sectors. Congratulations to all graduates of the 159th period of the Faculty of Engineering, we wish them always success in their future careers and lives.
