Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University as One of the Locations for the Computer-Based Writing Test-Joint Selection for State University Entrance 2022
The Computer-Based Writing Examination-Joint Selection for State University Entrance in 2022 was officially conducted simultaneously at the Computer-Based Writing Examination Centers for all Indonesian State Universities. Udayana University is one part of the Computer-Based Writing Examination Center in Bali which will take place from Tuesday, 17 May 2022 to Monday, 23 May 2022. Udayana University takes part in holding the Computer-Based Writing Examination as one of the main requirements in the Joint Selection Entering State Universities with a total of 6545 participants. The implementation of this year's Computer-Based Writing Exam was conducted in 2 exam sessions, namely the morning session and the afternoon session. The activity which lasted for 7 days was carried out with strict implementation of the Covid-19 prevention protocol.
Participants of the Computer-Based Writing Exam are required to follow all applicable rules and regulations. Participants are required to wear masks, wash their hands, take part in body temperature screening, use hand sanitizers, and show evidence in the form of vaccine certificates that have been carried out 3 times, where for those who have only taken the vaccine twice, they must include evidence of negative SWAB/PCR test results through the application. CareProtect . The application of social distancing is also applied to participants who will enter the room or occupy the exam room. For the body temperature of participants in the Computer-Based Writing Examination, a maximum of 37.5 degrees Celsius is allowed to take the exam. In addition, the committee on duty has also been equipped with Personal Protective Equipment, such as masks, hand sanitizers and face shields.
The implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination-Joint Selection for State University Entrance 2022 consists of three test groups, namely the Science and Technology Examination Group, the Social and Humanities Examination Group and the Science and Technology Examination Group. In this year's Computer-Based Written Examination, the test materials include the Scholastic Potential Test, Academic Competency Test and English test. The material for the Scholastic Potential Test is the same for the three test groups, but is different for the Academic Competency Test. The materials tested in the Scientific Academic Competency Test include Science Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Meanwhile, in the Soshum Academic Competency Test, the exam materials are Soshum Mathematics, Economics, Geography, History, and Sociology. Participants in the Mixed Examination Group must take the two Academic Competency Tests.
The implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination-Joint Selection of State Universities at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University on the first day was reviewed directly by Mr. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D. as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. He said that the implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination-Joint Selection to Enter State Universities which had been carried out several times had gone well and only needed to maintain health protocols. This is done to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In the future, it is hoped that the number of computers in the Faculty of Engineering can increase and the quality can be further improved, so that the Faculty of Engineering can facilitate more prospective students to take the Computer-Based Written Examination-Joint Selection to Enter State Universities at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.
The central location for the Computer-Based Writing Examination-Joint Selection for State University Entrance to Udayana University is directly proposed by the Udayana University central committee. The implementation of the Computer-Based Writing Examination-Joint Selection of State Universities Entrance to the Faculty of Engineering is divided into five locations, namely computer laboratories of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering and Information Technology. The implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination-Joint Selection of State Universities at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University was attended by 1,330 participants with the number of participants in each session was 95 participants. The examination schedule was carried out in two sessions, namely, session 1 was held at 07.00 -12.00 WITA, then a break was held at 12.00-13.30 WITA. Next, participants in session 2 entered the room and took the exam at 14.00-17.40 WITA.
