HMTL PPK ORMAWA TEAM IMPLEMENTS GUIDANCE IN USING THE DIGITAL WASTE HOUSE APPLICATION “GRIYA LUHU” IN SABA VILLAGE, GIANYAR

HMTL PPK Ormawa Team implemented guidance for the digital waste house application in Saba Village, Gianyar, Bali. This guidance was carried out in 5 traditional villages, namely Saba Traditional Village, Pinda Traditional Village, Bonbiyu Traditional Village and Blangsinga Traditional Village, with Bonbiyu Traditional Village still waiting for the schedule for opening the waste bank.

The main objective of this activity is to digitize the implementation of the waste bank in Saba Village. Before the presence of the HMTL PPK Ormawa Team, the waste bank program in Saba Village still used a manual concept in terms of recording waste data from each customer. However, now all customer data recording is using an application called “Griya Luhu”, where this application is supported by the HMTL PPK Ormawa Team partner, namely Bali Wastu Lestari.

In its implementation, the environmental health cadres in Saba Village felt helped by the implementation of this program because it was easier and the stored data was certainly safe. In addition, the Head of Saba Village also greatly appreciated this program and it is hoped that it can be continued by the environmental health cadres. The Head of Saba Village also hopes that the activities of this waste bank will continue in order to reduce the amount of waste in Saba Village.
