International Cooperation of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University with PT Awina Sinergi International regarding Solar Panels and the Concept of Sustainable Technology
Today Bali is in an era of globalization. Understanding the era of globalization is everything using sophistication or high technology so as not to be out of date. So that human work is done not by human hands itself, meaning humans do something through the help of machines, or more sophisticated tools. So that requires us to have higher education and competent competitiveness in order to increase competitiveness at every opportunity. Universities and Industry can interact with each other in exchanging information and cooperation in various fields, one of which is in the field of renewable energy.
In an effort to face increasingly fast global competition, the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University is required to be able to move actively and innovatively in order to increase the competitiveness of graduates, both at national and international levels. One of the efforts made is to conduct international cooperation with PT Awina Sinergi International. PT Awina Sinergi International is a company that provides waste management solutions and renewable energy. This collaboration aims to provide benefits to the community, especially in the fields of renewable energy and waste management, as well as being part of solving global problems related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
PT Awina Sinergi International visited the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University on Monday (4/4/2022) at the FT Unud Dean Building, Jimbaran Campus. During his visit to Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, PT Awina Sinergi International was represented by Nakamura Hirohide who is the President Commissioner. Nakamura Hirohide explained that his company, which focuses on the development of Integrated Sustainable Energy, said that it would soon build a 20 ton per day waste gasification machine facility in Bali which is integrated with solar panels so that the concept of sustainable technology is obtained.
On this visit, he was received directly by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D. who was accompanied by the Deputy Dean I Prof. I Nyoman Suprapta Winaya, S.T., M.A.Sc., Ph.D. expressed interest in conducting downstream research related to Renewable Energy technology. Where there is a lot of research at Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University which is very closely related to PT Awina's mission, namely Integrated Sustainable Energy. Collaboration can be done through the Kedaireka platform, internship programs, or consulting projects.
