The 2025 Student Organization Development Program (PPK ORMAWA) of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Socializes Craftsman Group Formation Program, SIRAT Technology, and the KEDIBIHI Website in Kayubihi Village, Bangli
The Electrical Engineering Student Association (HME) of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, which is part of the 2025 Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK ORMAWA), held a socialization event for the planned craft group formation, SIRAT technology socialization, and the KEDIBIHI website. The event took place on [event date] in the Kayubihi Village Library Meeting Room, Bangli Regency, Bali Province.
This socialization event was the first step in the implementation of the PPK ORMAWA program, which aims to support community capacity development, particularly in the areas of crafts, technology, and the digitalization of village information. The event was attended by Kayubihi Village officials, accompanying lecturers, and the local community.
On this occasion, the student team presented their plan to form a local craftsman group as an effort to encourage economic empowerment based on regional potential. Furthermore, the students were introduced to SIRAT (Integrated Water-Friendly Irrigation System) technology, designed to support water-efficient irrigation systems relevant to artisans and farmers in the region.
Equally important, the students also introduced the KEDIBIHI website, a digital platform aimed at providing village information, promoting local products, and serving as a communication tool between the village government and the community.
The 2025 PPK ORMAWA HME FT Unud program will continue with various mentoring activities and technical training over the next few months. This program is expected to foster synergy between students, universities, and the community in realizing innovative and independent villages.
