Toyota Shares – Handover of Lean Manufacturing Laboratory Package Grants to the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the Dean Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University received a CSR grant from PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia. PT.Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia through CSR activities in the field of education and human resource development, namely "Toyota Sharing Knowledge" provides a real contribution in the form of donations of educational aids. This CSR grant is only given to 10 universities, one of which is Udayana University.



This grant activity consists of the handing over of laboratory teaching aids in the form of 1 Lean Manufacturing Laboratory package to the Industrial Engineering Study Program and the signing of the minutes of the handover of the grant. The grant is allocated for laboratory equipment with the aim of improving training and practical work for Industrial Engineering students in the industrial world so that they can become a bridge in the creation of ready-to-use global human resources.


 


The collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering and Toyota is not a new collaboration but has been started before when Toyota donated 1 Toyota Fortuner car to support teaching and learning activities. It is hoped that the continuity of this collaboration will be closer and can bring a good impact to all Industrial Engineering students, which was conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.
