Udayana University Information Technology Team Wins 1st Place at Badung Innovation Festival 2024

A team from the Information Technology Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, has successfully made a brilliant achievement in the Badung Innovation Festival (BFI) 2024. With an innovation entitled "Parasali: Digital Innovation Introducing the History of Balinese Script, Language, and Literature with Web-Based Educational Games to Improve the Quality of Balinese Script Education for Elementary School Children in Bali", this team won 1st place in the Arts, Culture, and Tourism category.


Parasali is a web-based educational game designed to introduce and facilitate learning of Balinese script, especially among elementary school students. This application integrates Balinese cultural elements into digital technology, providing an interesting and interactive learning experience, while supporting efforts to preserve local culture.


The team is led by Ida Bagus Mas Manuaba, with members I Ngurah Gede Adi Putra and Alvin Maulana Rhusuli. Their success shows the great potential of Bali's young generation in developing technology-based innovations that are relevant to the needs of society while preserving cultural heritage.


The 2024 Badung Innovation Festival itself is a prestigious forum to showcase various creative innovations from various fields. This achievement is expected to inspire other students to continue working and contributing to the development of technology and culture in Bali.
