Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Visits the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University in the Context of Student Exchange Collaboration and Mechanical Engineering Research

On February 6 2024, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) visited the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University to explore collaboration in the fields of student exchange and mechanical engineering research. The event, which took place in Meeting Room II, Jimbaran Faculty of Engineering Dean Building, was attended by the Dean of the Engineering Faculty, Deputy Dean III, Coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, a number of lecturers from the Mechanical Engineering study program, as well as lecturers from UTM.




During the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University gave an introduction to the Faculty profile, including the facilities available, various majors offered, accreditation status, and international collaborations that have been established. This information aims to provide a comprehensive understanding to delegates from UTM regarding the potential for collaboration that can be established between the two institutions.


The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana, warmly welcomed the arrival of the delegation from UTM and expressed his hope that this visit could be a good start to strengthen cooperative relations between the two institutions in the field of mechanical engineering. One of the main points discussed was the student exchange program, where students from both universities can exchange learning experiences and deepen their knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering.




Apart from that, the two parties also discussed the potential for cooperation in terms of research in the field of mechanical engineering. It is hoped that this will result in productive collaboration in developing new technology as well as improving the quality of education and research at both institutions.


It is hoped that this visit will be a good starting point in strengthening cooperation between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, as well as providing great benefits for the development of science and education in the field of mechanical engineering.
