The Civil Engineering Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University has held a Community Service activity located at Tirta Harum Temple, Tamanbali Village, Bangli on Saturday, April 23, 2022. The location selection was carried out in following up on a request from Kelian Pengmpon Pura Tirta Harum Tamanbali Bangli Village. In following up, Community Service aims to assist the community in solving problems related to technical evaluation of the function of the connecting bridge at Tukad Melangit, Tamanbali Village, Bangli to Tirta Harum Temple. In accordance with a request from the owner of Tirta Harum Temple in Tamanbali Bangli Village addressed to the Chancellor of Udayana University, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University formed a team consisting of various disciplines, especially Civil and Architectural Engineering. Besides lecturers, staff, technicians, and students are also involved. This team is chaired by Doctor Ir. I Nyoman Sutarja came down to inspect the bridge in question. The other team members are Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Sueca, MT., PhD Ir. Ida Ayu Made Budiwati, MSc., PhD I Gde Adi Susila, ST., MSc, PhD., Ida Bagus Rai Widiarsa, ST., MASc. Ph.D., Made Dodiek Wirya Ardana, ST., MT. Dr. Ir. Ngakan Ketut Acwin Dwijendra, ST., S.Ds. MA., IPU, Asean.Eng, Dr. Ir. Anak Agung Gde Djaja Bharina, MT., Dr. A. A. Gde Agung Yana, ST., MT. I Wayan Sudita Yasa, ST., Putu Krishna Benardia Adimas.

Before carrying out the inspection, the team performed prayers at the temples in the area, namely Pura Jero Puri and Pura Tirta Harum. The purpose of the prayer is to ask for Hyang Widhi's permission as well as guidance so that we are all safe in carrying out our duties and activities run smoothly as expected. The team was received and welcomed by the chairman of the Tirta Harum Temple I Dewa Gede Adiputra and its members. On this occasion, the head of the sponsor expressed his deep gratitude for the assistance from the Udayana University Faculty of Engineering Team and hoped that the team could work as well as possible.

Location This temple area is a forest. The sound of a waterfall from a natural spring that is very clear and abundant can be heard from a distance. Tukad melangit basically is quite deep and the abundant water discharge throughout the year is a source of life for the community along its flow. The bridge is tested for strength, its sturdiness is over the river connecting the west and east areas of the river. The area west of the river is the area of ??Tamanbali Bangli Village, while the area east of the river is the area of ??Tegalwangi Klungkung Village. The function of this bridge is very important for the community, especially the warih Maha Gotra Tirta Harum because one of the kawitan temples from this pasemetonan is the Pura Luhur Tirta Harum. It can be said that the forerunner of the Maha Gotra Tirta Harum pasemetonan can be traced from this temple.

On Saturday, April 23, 2022 the team went to the location with the necessary equipment such as hummer test, theodolite, concrete scanner, camera, etc. The general understanding of the tools used is that the Theodolite is a soil measuring instrument used to determine the height of the soil with horizontal and vertical angles. Surveys using theodolites are carried out when the site to be mapped is large and/or difficult to measure, and especially if the site has a large relief or difference in elevation. By using this tool, all features or symptoms can be mapped quickly and efficiently.

The second tool, Hammer test is a tool for checking the quality of concrete without damaging the concrete. This test method is carried out by providing an impact load on the concrete surface. Test results data will be obtained in a relatively short time. The third tool, the Concrete Rebar Scanner or often called the Cover Meter Test, is a test or check to measure the thickness of the concrete blanket, the distance between reinforcement and the estimated diameter of the reinforcement.

It is hoped that the Udayana University Faculty of Engineering team will be able to provide reports on the condition of the bridges and buildings at Tirta Harum Temple and provide technical recommendations for the sustainability of their use. Hopefully this contribution can be useful for the community in general and for the Maha Gotra Tirta Harum team in particular.
