Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University Holds Guest Lecture Titled "Building Indonesia's Energy Future: Indonesia Power's Perspective"

The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, again held a guest lecture on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Postgraduate Hall of Udayana University. This event carries the theme "Building Indonesia's Energy Future: Indonesia Power's Perspective" and presents the main speaker I Made Harta Yasa, Senior Manager of the Bali Generation Business Unit of PT Indonesia Power.


This guest lecture was attended by students, lecturers, and academics of Udayana University who were enthusiastic about exploring the challenges and opportunities in the energy sector. In his presentation, I Made Harta Yasa discussed various strategies of PT Indonesia Power in supporting the national energy transition, innovation in generating technology, and the importance of collaboration between the industrial world and academia to realize a sustainable energy future in Indonesia.


The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, in his remarks, conveyed the importance of guest lectures like this as a means of broadening students' insights into current issues in the energy sector. He emphasized that the synergy between universities and energy companies such as PT Indonesia Power can be a collaboration in developing competent human resources in the energy sector.


The Q&A session was interactive, with students showing great interest in green energy innovations and the challenges of managing power plants in Bali. The event ended with the presentation of award plaques to the speakers as a form of appreciation for their scientific contributions.
