Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University Holds SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Training for Laboratory Accreditation Preparation

In order to prepare for laboratory accreditation, the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Training on Thursday and Friday, September 5-6, 2024. This training will take place at the Inna Bali Heritage Hotel Denpasar, Bali, with the aim of strengthening the laboratory capabilities within the Faculty of Engineering in meeting international standards.


This event was attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering, including the Vice Deans, Undergraduate Study Program Coordinators (S1), Heads of Laboratories, Business Unit Teams, K3L Unit Teams, Administration Coordinators, General and Finance Sub-Coordinators, as well as PLPs and laboratory technicians. This training also presented an expert resource person, Ir. Deddy Rachman Sumadi, who has extensive experience in implementing laboratory accreditation standards.


By participating in this training, it is expected that all participants can understand more deeply the laboratory quality standards based on SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017, which includes technical competence and quality management systems. This accreditation preparation is important to ensure that the Udayana University Faculty of Engineering laboratory is able to compete globally and provide quality and reliable results.


This training is also a strategic step for the Faculty of Engineering in supporting progress and innovation in academics and research through laboratories accredited with international standards.
