The Doctor of Engineering Study Program (PSDIT) held its 49th doctoral promotion session which was held on Wednesday, January 25 2023 at the Wiswakarma Hall, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. Promovendus Ida Bagus Surya Suamba, ST., MT with a dissertation entitled Practical Orientation for Controlling Space Utilization in Canggu Village, Badung Regency, completed his studies in 2 years and 5 months with cum laude predicate (with honors).

In his presentation, Dr. Ida Bagus Surya Suamba, ST., MT explained that the concept of sustainable ecology is expected to realize the current condition of Balinese agriculture. In addition, this concept is expected to become a grand design orientation for the implementation of the responsibilities of the Regional Government and the community in preserving agricultural land and a balanced environment based on the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana.

As chairman of the session is Prof. Dewa Made Priyantha Wedagama, ST., MT., MSc., Ph.D., as the Coordinator of the Doctor of Engineering Study Program (PSDIT) of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. Promoter Prof. Dr. Ir. Ngakan Made Anom Wiryasa, MT., IPM. Co-promoter I and II are Dr. Ir. N.K. Acwin Dwijendra, ST., SDs., MA., IPU., ASEAN. Eng and Dr. I Dewa Gede Agung Diasana Putra., ST., MT. Acting as examiner is Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Budiartha RM., MSc, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Dewa Ketut Sudarsana, MT., Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Sutarja, MS, Prof. Dewa Made Priyantha Wedagama, ST., MT., MSc., Ph.D and Dr. Ir. I Made Adhika, MSP. Meanwhile, dr. I Wayan Suambara, SH., MH., Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Anom Rajendra, MSc., Ph.D., Ir. Nyoman Martha Jaya, M.Const.Mgt., Ph.D., GCInstCES acted as an academic invitee.
