Improving the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Graduates Period 141 of Engineering Faculty, Udayana University

The Faculty of Engineering held “Improving the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Graduates Period 141 of Engineering Faculty, Udayana University” on Thursday, May 6^th 2021. Like a previous periods, this event also held through online with Cisco Webex Aps and live streaming on Youtube. 

This event was began by speech of Vice Dean for Academic and Planning of Engineering Faculty Mr. I Ketut Sudarsana. Mr. I Ketut Sudarsana said, the Improving Spirit of Entrepreneurship event has purposes giving a motivation about knowledge of entrepreneurship to graduates with invite speaker from alumni of Engineering Faculty was experience full in work word.

The Faculty of Engineering release 63 graduates, 51 from Bachelor Program and 12 graduates from Master Program, for Doctor Program doesn’t has a graduates yet.

The best graduate is achieved by Anak Agung Ayu Diah Monika Indra Dewi, S.T from Study Program Bachelor of Civil Engineering, and Debbi Irfan Mudhoep, S.Pd, M.T from Study Program Master of Electrical Engineering. With this graduate period, total graduates/alumni of Engineering Faculty is 12.858 graduates.

The Improving Spirit of Entrepreneurship Graduates of Engineering Faculty on this period was invited speaker from alumnus of Study Program Civil Engineering batch 1989 Mr. I Putu Ari Purnawan, S.T. In the discussion his shared the experiences in work word that has built a company when still in college. Mr. I Putu Ari Purnawan said, the graduates have to think what have to we make, not where we have to work. Because, everyone have a spirit of entrepreneurship itself. 

“Foundation to build an entrepreneurship is a bravery and leadership”. Bravery come from what we have learn, but if we can’t lead other it will useless.

“Since in second grade high school, I have planned myself to be a contractor. For that, I had to choose a bachelor in civil engineering. Because I already know what my goal is, not all my studies have to be smart. But, there are some studies that support my business, and there I have to be the best. Even I have took many times, even I have finished it. So, I brave myself to decide it from begin. With the result that, when take a study it so efficiency”

Improving the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Graduates Period 141 of Engineering Faculty, Udayana University was closed by speech of Dean Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana. “This achievement is first step, a littlest achievement among achieves that we don’t know next. Even it is a little achievement, I wish it can be valued and grateful. Don’t be satisfied, continuous the next achievement that is waiting for you to be a successful. I hope, you can keep your professionalism, don’t sell it in an inelegant way, keep the good name of alma mater of Engineering Faculty and Udayana University, as well as the country”.
