Inauguration ceremony of the new building, Advance Research Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University
On
Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, the academic community of the Faculty of
Engineering, Udayana University (Unud) held an inauguration ceremony (Melaspas)
for the the Advance Research Laboratory building. The ceremony was attended by
the Rector of Udayana University and his staff, the Dean of the Faculty of
Engineering, Udayana University, Deputy Dean I, Deputy Dean II, Deputy Dean II,
Study Program Coordinators, and other invited guests.
On
this occasion the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Unud, Ir. I Ketut
Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D. expressed his gratitude for the presence of the invitees
and to all parties involved for the successful establishment and inauguration
of the Advance Research Laboratory building. He also conveyed that in the
construction of this building there were many interesting stories in it,
related to the initial planning and design of construction in 2020, the
construction and finishing process in 2021, and at the Melaspas ceremony
today. With the existence of this new building, it is hoped that it can be put
to good use and support learning activities in the Faculty of Engineering Unud
environment.
The
event then continued with remarks from the Rector of Udayana University, Prof.
Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M. Eng, IPU. In his speech, the Rector of Unud
said that with the inauguration of the Advance Research Laboratory building, he
hoped that this building could have a good impact on the Tri Darma of higher
education, and the activities of the academic community would run even better
so that they could make a major contribution to the Faculty of Engineering
Unud. The Advance Research Laboratory building at the Faculty of Engineering is
one of 9 buildings built by Udayana University in 2021.
The
Advance Research Laboratory building is located at the Faculty of Engineering,
Jimbaran campus, has four (4) floors, several classrooms, and several
laboratory rooms that are designated for joint research laboratories to support
learning activities within the Faculty of Engineering.
