Jembrana Vice Regent Visit

The Faculty of Engineering received a visit from Jembrana Vice Regent I Gede Ngurah Patriana on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Located at Sidang Room I, 3^rd Floor, Dean Building of Engineering Faculty Jimbaran, this limited visit received by the Dean of Engineering Faculty and staffs.

I Ketut Swijana as Head of Jembrana Bappeda (Agency for Regional Development) explained that this visit has purpose to strengthen a relation between Engineering Faculty and Jembrana Government, in this context are Regent and Vice Regent. In view of, there have been faculty experts that involved in Jembrana development.

I Gede Ngurah Patriana Krisna said this visit was also as thanks, sharing, and discussion about Doctor Program that will his take soon.

The Dean of Engineering Faculty Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, M.T.,Ph.D.,IPU welcomed the arrival of Jembrana Vice Regent and his team “this a pride because he is one of our alumni. Congratulation has been elected as Vice Regent; hopefully this was beginning of the peak of his career”.

This meeting mostly discussed about important roles of academics in development, especially in Jembrana. Prof. I Nyoman Suprapta Winaya, S.T.,MA.Sc.,Ph.D said that a strategic plan that did with approaches or academic studies would be better. “With his background ‘engineering’ should be more developed in Negara”.
