Presentation of the Vision and Mission of the Candidate for Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University for the 2023-2027 period

The series of events for the election of the Dean Candidates for the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University for the 2023-2027 period continued on Tuesday, 14 February 2023 with an agenda in the form of a presentation of the vision and mission of each Dean Candidate. The event took place in Meeting Room II, Floor 3, Dean Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran Campus from 10.00 to 12.20 WITA.

The event was opened with remarks by the Chair of the Senate and remarks by the Chairman of the Committee as well as the moderator of the event. With this vision and mission presentation activity, it is hoped that it can be put to good use to see competence and explore the potential of each Candidate for the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. Thus, the elected Dean will later be able to bring the Faculty of Engineering to be more superior and advanced and can be recognized on the international stage.

The event then continued with the introduction of the Dean Candidates and the presentation of the vision and mission. In the election of Candidates for the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for the 2023-2027 period, there were 3 Candidates for Deans, namely Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D., Dr. Ida Bagus Gede Manuaba, ST., MT., and Prof. Ir. Linawati, MEngSc., Ph.D. Each Dean Candidate is given 15 minutes to explain their vision and mission and to answer questions from the audience who come offline.

 

Furthermore, in the question and answer session there were 6 overall questions submitted by lecturers and staff as well as the Faculty of Engineering student senate. Questions submitted included questions regarding managerial experience, how to provide a sense of fairness between Study Programs, activities capable of supporting student activities, laboratory management and programs related to employee welfare. After the question and answer session was over, the vision and mission presentation of the Candidate Dean was closed. The next series of events is the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering which will be held on March 6 2023.
