The 56th BKFT ‘Infinite Struggle’

The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held a celebration of the 56^th Anniversary BKFT, on Friday, October 1, 2021. Through the theme ‘Infinite Struggle’ this event was held via online and offline in Sidang 2 Room, 3^rd Floor, Dean Building of Engineering Faculty, Jimbaran. Also attended on the celebration were the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Chair of the Engineering Faculty Senate, Dean, the Vice Deans, Coordinators of Study Program, and representative of BEM PM.

 

The Chairman Committee of the 56^th BKFT Anak Agung Ngurah Amrita, S.T., M.T in his speech said ‘Infinite Struggle’ as the theme of BKFT means unlimited struggle. “We hope that there is a hope implied in the theme, where the Faculty of Engineering like in the Mars Engineering, will continue to be victorious and always be number one”. Anak Agung Ngurah Amrita also said that in this BKFT there were some activities that had been carried out, such as mangrove fencing as a clean-up action that collaborated with fishing group at Kedonganan Village, planting mangrove that collaborated with fishing group at Pemogan Village, and food distribution in two spots point were Puputan Badung Square and Kuta Market.

 

The Dean of Engineering Faculty Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T.,Ph.D in his speech said at the age of 56^th the Faculty of Engineering has made a new history where two best sons are trusted to lead Udayana University. . I Ketut Sudarsana also said a new challenges that have to beat “we are living in Revolution Industry 4.0 era or disruption era, many jobs starting to shift so need a new skill. Therefore, the education system in university must be able to respond, we must re-orientation the curriculum and upgrade the existing learning system. We have to able to beat the challenges, with work hard and work together. We have to continue the fight-(struggle without limits)-‘Infinite Struggle”-as the theme that we carry out on the 56^th BKFT, to create an excellent Faculty of Engineering both national and global.

 

While the Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU said happy anniversary the 56^th BKFT “hopefully the Faculty of Engineering will getting a head in carry out the activities of “Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi” in support the progress and process of internationalization of the Engineering Faculty”. I Nyoman Gde Antara also added, the Faculty of Engineering is one of bigger faculties at Udayana University with 12 study programs, a large number of human resources, as well as very good lecturer qualifications. This will make the Faculty of Engineering more advanced as long as it is accompanied by high dedication to the institution.

The peak of 56^th BKFT celebrate was cutting the tumpeng; awarding to educators, staffs, and students; sharing session with alumni; as well as playback the video BKFT.
