The Faculty of Engineering Receive Visit PT. Agra Surya Energy

The Faculty of Engineering received a visit from PT. Agra Surya Energy, Friday, 11^th June 2021. Located at Sidang Dekan Room, 2^nd Floor Dean Building of Engineering Faculty Jimbaran, this visit received by the Dean of Engineering Faculty, Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs, also Head of Research and Development Unit of Engineering Faculty.

PT. Agra Surya Energy is a company that working in providing solar energy that purpose to sustainable and efficiency energy. The different between PT. Agra Surya Energy and other is in the product that use glass in both side of panel. Beside, this company has a mounting system concept that use solar panel as a rooftop directly.

PT. Agra Surya Energy discussed about the potential of Udayana University if all building roofs installed solar panel, “the solar cell can produce 2 GW or 51% from total supply PLN in Udayana University”. PT. Agra Surya Energy also explain some schemes offer such as direct purchase by directly buying, commercial offer 2-6 years leasing by leas scheme for 6 years, and commercial offer performance base rental that is a collaborate scheme that after 25 years the solar panel will be property of Engineering Faculty.

The Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs Mr. I Ketut Sudarsana welcoming the plan of from PT. Agra Surya Energy and hoping can make cooperation in the future. “Seen from our vision, we very support the renewable energy especially PLTS (Solar Power Plant) where we don’t just be an importer”.
