The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held an HSE workshop to create an HSE culture in the campus environment

The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held an Occupational Health Safety and Environmental HSE workshop with the topic "Increasing the Capacity of the Academic Community in Creating HSE Culture at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University" on June 14, 2023 at Meeting Room II of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Jimbaran Campus. This workshop was attended by Dr. Anak Agung Sagung Manik Mahachandra Jayanthi Mertha, S.T., M.Sc., as guest speaker, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Deputy Deans, Head of HSE unit of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Study Program Coordinator, Head and Laboratory Technicians, and Student Association from each study program.

This HSE workshop is the third workshop held by the HSE unit of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. In this workshop, Dr. Anak Agung Sagung Manik Mahachandra Jayanthi Mertha, S.T., M.Sc., who is a Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Diponegoro University and also the HSE Coordinator at Diponegoro University. The series of events in the Workshop on Increasing the Capacity of the Academic Community in Creating HSE Culture at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, began with the screening of a simulation of handling accidents that occurred at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, followed by a series of material sharing events and discussions with workshop participants.

By holding this HSE workshop, it is hoped that the application of Occupational Health Safety and Environment culture at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University will increase, starting from oneself and then transmitting it to others. HSE is very important in everyday life where by implementing this HSE culture it is hoped that we will be able to provide first aid when a work accident or natural disaster occurs.
