The Robot Study Group Team, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, won 1st place and Best Design in the National Java Robot Competition

The Robot Study Group Team from the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University won achievements in the National Java Robot Competition organized by the Surabaya State Electronics Polytechnic (PENS). This competition will take place from 3 to 5 November 2023 and involves participants from various universities throughout Indonesia.


The team from the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University showed extraordinary performance during the competition, winning 1st place and winning the Best Design award. This success cannot be separated from the dedication and hard work of the team led by Dr. Ir. Ida Bagus Alit Swamardika, M.Erg., IPM, ASEAN Eng., Ir. Cokorde Gede Indra Partha, M.Erg., MT., IPU., ASEAN Eng., and Ir. I Wayan Arta Wijaya, M.Erg., MT, who is also a leading lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.




The team has demonstrated exceptional technical expertise in designing and operating their robot, which performed extremely well in the various tasks assigned in this competition. Apart from winning 1st place, they also received the Best Design award, which confirms the superiority of the robot design they developed.


Dr. Ir. Ida Bagus Alit Swamardika, M.Erg., IPM, ASEAN Eng., one of the team supervisors, expressed his pride in the achievements his students had achieved. He said, "This achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of an extraordinary team. They have shown high commitment in designing, building and operating their robot perfectly. This is clear proof of the extraordinary potential of our students in the field of technology and engineering. "


Ir. Cokorde Gede Indra Partha, M.Erg., MT., IPU., ASEAN Eng., another team supervisor, added, "We hope that this achievement will inspire other students at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University to continue pursuing excellence in technology and robotics. This success is proof that hard work and an unyielding spirit can bring extraordinary results."
