Udayana University Architecture Students Win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in International Bamboo Design Competition

Students of the Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, have once again made the campus famous internationally by winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the 7th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, ASEAN International Colleges and Universities Construction Competition 2024, Bamboo Competition category, Indonesia Division. This achievement reflects the students' extraordinary ability to utilize bamboo as a sustainable and environmentally friendly architectural design innovation.


This prestigious competition was attended by various universities from ASEAN countries, where participants were challenged to explore the potential of bamboo as the main material in construction design. The team of Architecture students, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, successfully demonstrated superior creativity and technical abilities, presenting an innovative, functional, and aesthetic design concept.


This success is the result of intensive coaching under the guidance of lecturers and solid collaboration between students, as well as full support from the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. With this achievement, Udayana University further strengthens its position as an educational institution that excels in producing talented young architects at the international level.
