Udayana University Faculty of Engineering Student Senate Holds Selection of Outstanding Students 2022

The Student Senate of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held a selection of outstanding students in 2022 which was held in the Wiswakarma Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University on Sunday, March 6, 2022. This event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Deputy Dean I, Deputy Dean III, Supervisors Lecturers, Study program coordinators within the Faculty of Engineering, the judges, the chairman of the student representative council, and the chairman of the student executive body. This activity aims to prepare outstanding students at the Faculty level to then be able to compete at the University level.

The event started with the report of the chairman of the 2022 Outstanding Student Selection Committee, Anak Agung Ngurah Amrita, ST., MT, and then continued with remarks from the chairman of BEMFT I Nyoman Hary Putra Darma, Chairman of DPMFT Cokorda Gd Dwipayana, Deputy dean III Ir. I Nyoman Budiastra, M.Erg., and finally the remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D. in the Selection of Outstanding Students in 2022, participants from several study programs within the Faculty of Engineering included participants from the Industrial Engineering Study Program, participants from the Electrical Engineering Study Program, participants from the Architecture Study Program, participants from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, and participants from the Engineering Program. Civil Engineering Studies.

The participants in the 2022 Outstanding Student Selection will be selected in several stages, including the English presentation stage and the presentation of creative ideas. The English presentation was held in room B1.1 of the Faculty of Engineering with a jury of 3 people consisting of Prof. D.M. Priyantha Wedagama, ST, MT, MSc., PhD., I Nyoman Satya Kumara, ST, MSc., PhD., and Ir. Kadek Diana Harmayani, ST, MT., PhD. The English presentation stage is carried out in turns according to the number of participants who have been drawn previously, and participants get a duration of 5 minutes for presentations and 10 minutes for question and answer sessions. After the implementation of the English presentation, it was continued with the presentation of creative ideas with a presentation duration of 30 minutes for each participant, with details of 20 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of question and answer session, at this stage the judging was carried out by 3 judges including Prof. I Nyoman Suprapta Winaya, ST, MASc., PhD., Ni Ketut Agus Sintadewi, ST, MT., PhD., and Dr.Eng I Putu Agung Bayupati, ST., MT. The announcement of the results of the 2022 selection of outstanding students will be announced through the official Instagram account of the Faculty of Engineering Student Senate.

In closing the Vice Dean III Ir. I Nyoman Budiastra conveyed that the 2022 Outstanding Student Selection event was an accumulation of all student activity achievements during college. To be an outstanding student, one should be active and excel in all student activities, be it competition, organization or recognition.
