Community Group Work Socialization and Training by the Student Organization Development Team (PPK Ormawa) of the Environmental Engineering Student Association (HMTL), Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, in Tihingan Traditional Village
The Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) of the Environmental Engineering Student Association (HMTL), Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, held a Community Group Work Socialization and Training event on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Tihingan Traditional Village Hall, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency, Bali.
This activity was part of the implementation of the community service program aimed at increasing community capacity and involvement in environmental management and developing local potential. The training focused on community empowerment through the formation of productive work groups, strengthening collective work systems, and providing technical education on household waste management and community-based environmental conservation.
The event was attended by village officials, community leaders, and representatives of Tihingan Traditional Village residents. During the socialization session, the student team presented various materials, including basic concepts of environmental management, strategies for implementing community group activities, and examples of appropriate technology implementation.
This activity also provides a collaborative opportunity between students, supervising lecturers, and the village community to build independence and awareness of local environmental issues. Through this activity, it is hoped that active, trained, and sustainable community groups will be formed to protect and manage their surrounding environment.
