Udayana University Faculty of Engineering Students Win 1st Place in the 3 Kg Sumobot Competition at the Generation Leading Of Revolutionary Event at Ganesha University of Education (GLORY#5 2025)
Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University once again brought honor to the university through their outstanding achievement in the Generation Leading of Revolutionary competition, hosted by Ganesha University of Education. This prestigious technology competition brings together young innovators from various universities across Indonesia. In the 3-kilogram Sumobot competition, the team from the Faculty of Engineering demonstrated their dominant performance and emerged as first place winner after a series of strategic and tense matches.
The Faculty of Engineering's Robotics Team was represented by Kelvin Imanuel (NIM 2405541003) and Ary Putra Sastrawan (NIM 2405541014), students active in robotics development activities on campus. The two designed a 3-kilogram sumo robot with a robust mechanical design and a responsive control system. Their competition preparation included intensive testing, refining movement algorithms, and evaluating tactics against various types of opponents. These efforts proved effective when their robot outperformed its competitors in several fast-paced, precision-driven rounds.
This success did not come overnight, but rather the result of hard work, perseverance, and a deep understanding of robotics technology. This achievement demonstrates that Udayana University's Faculty of Engineering students possess the ability to compete in national-level technology competitions. In addition to strengthening the faculty's reputation, this victory also reflects the quality of education and the supportive academic environment that encourages students to continuously innovate.
The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, expresses its deepest appreciation to all team members who have worked hard and brought home this proud achievement. It is hoped that this achievement will motivate other students to develop their creativity, improve their competencies, and participate in various technology competitions in the future. This success is an important step in developing students' interests and talents in robotics and engineering technology.
