Udayana University Wins 6 Medals at the 2025 Student Organization Service Program
Udayana University once again achieved impressive national recognition through the 2025 Abdidaya Ormawa (Student Organizations) competition, an annual award given to student organizations, supervising lecturers, and village partners for their contributions to student organization-based community service. This year, Udayana University successfully took home six awards across various categories and levels of assessment.
The highest award went to the Engineering Student Association's PPK-O implementation team, which earned the 1st Best Rank (equivalent to Gold) for their innovation and successful implementation of a community service program that significantly impacted the community. This success affirmed the students' capacity to design, implement, and evaluate sustainable empowerment programs.
Udayana University also earned the 2nd Best Rank (equivalent to Silver) in the higher education category, recognizing the institution's support in developing and fostering PPK-O activities. At the supervisor level, the 3rd Rank (equivalent to Bronze) award went to Dr. Ir. Wayan Nata Septiadi, S.T., M.T. in the Most Innovative Lecturer category, for his dedication and creativity in mentoring student service programs.
In the student organization category, the Industrial Engineering Student Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Industri) brought honor to the university by achieving 3rd place (equivalent to Bronze) for the Most Collaborative Student Organization, demonstrating its ability to partner and foster cross-sector synergy in program implementation. Meanwhile, in the poster category, the Environmental Engineering Student Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan) PPK-O team achieved 2nd place (equivalent to Silver) for its informative and effective visual work that illustrated the impact of their program.
Completing these six achievements, Gunaksa Village, a partner of the Engineering Student Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Teknik) PPK-O, achieved 4th place (equivalent to Bronze) in the village partner category. This award underscores the importance of collaboration between universities and villages in strengthening community capacity.
