Udayana University Industrial Engineering Students Win 1st Place in the Business Case Competition at the 2025 Business Management Competition at the Bali State Polytechnic

Another exciting news came from the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University, specifically from the Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Program. One of its students, I Gusti Ngurah Marta Adi Guna, achieved a brilliant achievement by winning first place in the Business Case Competition, part of the 2025 Business Management Competition, organized by the Bali State Polytechnic (PNB).


This prestigious competition consisted of two stages: a preliminary round held on July 29–30, 2025, and a final round held on August 20–22, 2025, at the Bali State Polytechnic campus. The competition attracted teams from universities across Indonesia, both within and outside Bali, who competed in developing business strategies, analyzing real-life cases, and offering innovative solutions to business and industrial challenges.


In the competition, I Gusti Ngurah Marta Adi Guna demonstrated exceptional ability to analyze complex business problems and offer comprehensive, creative, and applicable solutions. With a data-driven approach and sustainability strategy, he impressed the judges with a well-structured presentation, strong arguments, and innovation relevant to today's industrial challenges. His meticulous design of an efficient and sustainability-oriented business model was a key factor that earned him first place in the competition.


This achievement was not only a source of personal pride for I Gusti Ngurah Marta Adi Guna, but also brought honor to the Industrial Engineering Study Program and the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University in the national competition arena. This achievement demonstrates that Faculty of Engineering students not only possess superior technical and engineering skills but also possess extensive insight into management, business, and strategic innovation.


The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University expressed his high appreciation for this achievement and stated that it is clear evidence that engineering students are capable of adapting and competing in the managerial and business fields. "Achievements like this inspire other students to continue developing their potential, thinking creatively, and daring to step out of their comfort zones in facing global challenges," he said.
