Socialization of Student Activities and Training in Compiling Student Competition Proposals
Jimbaran, 21 January 2026 – The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, held a Socialization of Student Affairs Activities and Training on Proposal Writing for Student Competitions at the Faculty of Engineering Campus, Jimbaran, on Wednesday (21/1). The activity was attended by students from various study programs within the Faculty of Engineering as part of ongoing efforts to enhance student quality and achievements.
This socialization activity aimed to provide comprehensive information to students regarding student affairs programs, particularly opportunities related to regional, national, and international student competitions. In addition, the training was designed to equip students with technical skills in preparing systematic, well-structured, and competitive proposals in accordance with competition guidelines.
In his remarks, the faculty leadership emphasized that active student involvement in student affairs activities and competitive events is an important indicator in developing students’ soft skills, creativity, leadership, and critical thinking abilities. The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, remains committed to continuously encouraging and facilitating students to achieve excellence and contribute optimally at both national and international levels.
The proposal writing training was delivered by experienced speakers in student competition mentoring, namely Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H., M.H., Dr. Wayan Nata Septiadi, S.T., M.T., and Ir. I Nyoman Budiastra, M.Kes., M.T. During the session, participants received insights into strategies for developing creative ideas, formulating backgrounds and objectives, designing methodologies, and preparing budgets and timelines in line with competition assessment standards.
The training was conducted interactively through material presentations, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, providing students with opportunities to share ideas and address challenges encountered in proposal preparation. The high level of student participation reflected strong enthusiasm throughout the activity.
Through this socialization and training program, the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, expects students to become more prepared, confident, and competitive in participating in student competitions. This activity is expected to serve as a strategic step in improving student achievements while strengthening the reputation of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, at the national and international levels.
