Together with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the Doctoral Program in Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, is finalizing the OBE Curriculum and Pedagogical Guidelines for Quality Doctorates.
The Doctoral Program in Engineering (PSDIT), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Udayana University, held an audience with the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in the Dean's living room on Monday, May 11, 2026. The meeting was a follow-up to the results of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Development of the 2026 Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Doctoral Program Curriculum and Academic Guidelines (Pedomik), which was held on April 25, 2026. The audience was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Linawati; the Coordinator of PSDIT, Prof. NMAED Wirastuti; the Chair and Secretary of the Pedomik Team, Prof. Lie Jasa and Dr. Fajar Purnama; the Head of the Curriculum Team, Doctor I Nyoman Setiawan; the Head of the Faculty of Engineering Administration, I Ketut Wijana, SE., MM.; and the Sub-coordinator for Academic and Cooperation Affairs, Ni Ketut Tjitra Juni, SE.
During the meeting, Prof. Wirastuti, the PSDIT Coordinator, reported on the development of the OBE-based curriculum and pedagogics, designed to strengthen academic management, improve the quality of doctoral graduates, and support preparations for LAMTek accreditation in 2028. Furthermore, input from resource persons and FGD participants was presented as part of the process of refining academic documents and strengthening learning governance within PSDIT. The respective Team Leaders also provided a more detailed explanation of the OBE-based curriculum and pedagogics.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Linawati, expressed her appreciation for the strategic steps taken by PSDIT and the Drafting Team in developing a curriculum aligned with higher education policies, accreditation standards, and the direction of Udayana University's development as a leading, independent, and cultured university. During the meeting, the Dean also provided various strategic input and direction to strengthen the quality of the curriculum, academic governance, and the development of PSDIT to become more adaptive, competitive, and globally competitive. Through this audience, it is hoped that the implementation of the OBE Curriculum and Pedagogical can become a foundation for strengthening academic quality and increasing PSDIT's competitiveness at the national and international levels.
