20 Electrical Engineering Students of Udayana University Participate in the Test and Interview for the 2026 Japanese Internship Program PSTE

Jimbaran, June 2026 – Twenty students from the Electrical Engineering Study Program (PSTE) at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, from the classes of 2023 and 2024 participated in a selection process consisting of tests and interviews for the PSTE 2026 Japan Internship Program. This activity is one of the Electrical Engineering Study Program's efforts to prepare students to gain international work experience and improve their competencies in engineering and technology. The Electrical Engineering Study Program is one of the leading study programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, which continuously encourages student competency development through national and international collaborations.

The test and interview process was conducted enthusiastically and was attended by students who met the administrative requirements. This selection process aims to identify the best participants who will later have the opportunity to participate in internships at various partner companies and institutions in Japan. The program is expected to provide real-world work experience in a global industrial environment while broadening students' insight into international work culture.

During the selection process, participants underwent several assessment stages covering academic ability, motivation to participate in the program, communication skills, readiness to work in an international environment, and a basic understanding of Japanese culture and work ethic. The interview team, which came directly from the Japanese partner company, conducted a thorough assessment to ensure that the selected participants possessed adequate competency and preparedness.

The Coordinator of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Dr. Ir. Ngurah Indra ER, ST., MSc., IPU., ASEAN Eng., stated that the PSTE 2026 Japan Internship Program is part of the Electrical Engineering Study Program's commitment to producing graduates who not only excel academically but also possess global experience and international competitiveness. Through this program, students are expected to develop technical skills, adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and professionalism, all of which are highly sought after in today's workforce.

The participants expressed their enthusiasm for the selection process.
