BRIDA Badung Regency Visits Udayana University's Faculty of Engineering to Discuss Collaboration on Integrated Public Creativity Park Strategy Studies

The Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University hosted a visit from the Badung Regency Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDA) to discuss opportunities for collaboration in research and development. The meeting focused on the planned implementation of research and development activities in the economic and development sector, specifically the sub-activity of research and development in housing and residential areas.

The event, held at the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University, served as a forum for discussion regarding the planned Integrated Public Creativity Park Strategy Study in Badung Regency, which will be conducted by BRIDA Badung Regency. This study is expected to generate strategic recommendations for developing innovative, inclusive public spaces that support improvements in the community's quality of life through the integrated creativity park concept.

During the event, representatives from BRIDA Badung Regency conveyed the purpose of the visit, namely exploring collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University as a potential self-managed implementing agency for the study. This appointment is planned to be carried out in accordance with the Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared by BRIDA Badung Regency.

The Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University is considered to possess sufficient competence, human resources, and experience in conducting various academic studies, particularly in the areas of regional planning, infrastructure, housing, residential areas, and public space development. Therefore, this collaboration is expected to produce a comprehensive study and provide applicable recommendations for the Badung Regency Government.

During the meeting, both parties also discussed the scope of work, study implementation methodology, expected outcomes, and the implementation mechanism for self-managed activities. This discussion serves as the initial step in establishing a common understanding so that the study can be carried out effectively, on target, and provide optimal benefits for regional development.

Through synergy between the local government and universities, it is hoped that this study will support the realization of a public creativity park that will not only function as an open space for the community but also become an integrated center for social, educational, cultural, creative economy, and innovation activities in Badung Regency.

This visit by BRIDA Badung Regency also reinforced the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University's commitment to supporting regional development through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the areas of research and community service. This collaboration is expected to be the beginning of various other strategic collaborations that can make a real contribution to the sustainable and research-based development of Badung Regency.
