Inauguration and Graduation of PPAr Graduates with the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, October 2024 Period

On Friday, October 11, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held the Inauguration and Graduation of the Architect Profession Program (PPAr) in the Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Dean's Building. This event was a historic moment with the graduation of the first graduates from this program.


Ar. I Ketut Dirgantara, ST.MT IAI, a practicing lecturer, said that this activity is an important step for students to enter the workforce. He emphasized, "Over the past year, practicing lecturers have worked together to develop a clear mission in shaping students into architects who are ready to enter the field. This event is the first step in the long journey they will take in the professional world."


Prof. dr. AA Ayu Oka Saraswati, MT, an architect lecturer and lecturer in the Architect Profession Program, added, "We have been working on this program for almost 10 years. We are working hard so that PPAR can be formed soon." This statement reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Engineering to improve the quality of architectural education at Udayana University.


Ar. I Wayan Wiryawan, ST, MT, Ph.D, expressed his gratitude for this achievement. "Today is a historic moment for the Architecture Profession Study Program, because we celebrate the inauguration of the release of the first graduates. A total of 28 students from the first batch have successfully completed their studies and graduated, while the next batch has begun the education process," he explained.


The chairman of the committee, AR K.D. Agus Suryadharma, ST.MT, PhD, also gave a speech, "Today's activity is an annual agenda, where our institution provides services to the community, especially to students who have completed the year-long learning process. In this event, we release the students academically, give our blessings, and hand them over to the association that will continue the development."


The event was attended by various parties, including lecturers, students, and families of graduates, who together celebrated this achievement and provided support to the graduates to begin their new journey in the world of architecture.
