Universitas Udayana Faculty of Engineering Welcomes Boeing Visit to Discuss Aerospace Collaboration Opportunities
The Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Udayana welcomed a visit from the Boeing team to explore opportunities for developing collaboration between Boeing and Universitas Udayana. The visit was part of Boeing’s agenda at Universitas Udayana, which also included a meeting with the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering.
The meeting served as a strategic opportunity to discuss various potential areas of collaboration that could support academic development, competency enhancement, and student preparedness in responding to the needs of the global industry, particularly in the fields of aerospace and technology.
In a visit letter submitted to Universitas Udayana, Boeing expressed its interest in meeting with the Faculty of Engineering team on September 14, 2026. The meeting was expected to serve as an initial forum for discussion to explore potential forms of collaboration that could be developed between Boeing and Universitas Udayana in the future.
The involvement of an international industry partner such as Boeing in the academic environment presents an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between higher education institutions and industry. Through such engagement, students can gain broader insights into technological developments, competency requirements, and the evolving dynamics of the aerospace industry.
In addition to benefiting students, industry collaboration can also support the development of institutional networks and create opportunities for various academic and professional activities. Future forms of collaboration may be developed based on the needs and mutual agreement of both parties, including activities that connect students and the academic community with industry practitioners.
During the visit, Boeing was represented by Veronika Andrews, MBA, Project Manager of Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) and President of the Boeing Indonesian Association (BIA), as well as Bramantya Djermani, Production Engineer Lead and Senior Industrial Engineer for BCA and Advisor of BIA–Indonesia & Southeast Asia.
The visit was part of the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Udayana’s efforts to expand its relationships with international industry partners. The meeting is also expected to serve as an initial step toward establishing communication and exploring opportunities for sustainable collaboration.
Through strengthened engagement with industry, the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Udayana continues to promote an academic environment that is relevant to technological developments and the evolving needs of the workforce. Collaboration with Boeing is expected to provide added value to student competency development while strengthening Universitas Udayana’s role in building global academic and industry networks.
