Udayana University Faculty of Engineering Students Achieve Various Achievements at the 2026 Bali State Polytechnic Robot Competition (PNBRC)
Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University once again achieved impressive achievements at the 2026 Bali State Polytechnic Robot Competition (PNBRC), held by the Bali State Polytechnic on June 13–14, 2026, at the Bali State Polytechnic campus. In the competition, students from the Electrical Engineering Study Program won various awards in the 3-Kilogram Sumobot and Internet of Things (IoT) categories.
The PNBRC is an annual competition that provides a platform for students to hone their skills in robotics, control systems, electronics, programming, and Internet of Things-based technology development. The competition, attended by various universities, provides participants with a platform to showcase their innovation, creativity, and technical skills in solving the challenges presented.
In the 3-Kilogram Sumobot category, the Udayana University Electrical Engineering student team dominated the podium. Kelvin Imanuel (Number of Students 2405541003) and Ary Putra Sastrawan (Number of Students 2405541014) successfully won first place in the 2026 PNBRC 3-Kilogram Sumobot Competition after showcasing superior robot performance throughout the competition. Meanwhile, Andhika Wisnu Sadewa (Number of Students 2305541012) won second place in the 2026 PNBRC 3-Kilogram Sumobot Competition.
Not only did they excel in competition performance, but their robot innovation and design were also recognized. Amanda Saskia Putri (Number of Students 2405541012) and Anggita Mahrani Harahap (Number of Students 2405541023) won the Best Design award for the 2026 PNBRC 3-Kilogram Sumobot thanks to their innovative, functional robot design, which met the technical requirements assessed by the panel of judges.
They also achieved success in the Internet of Things (IoT) category. The team consisting of Nur Aisyah Sulistianto (NIM 2505541037) and Ni Putu Mira Widiantri (NIM 2505541048) won second place in the 2026 PNBRC Internet of Things competition, while Made Abdi Putra Kusuma (NIM 2505541034) and Nayaka Alkaesyah Suryanto (NIM 2505541052) won third place in the 2026 PNBRC Internet of Things competition. This success demonstrates the students' ability to develop innovative and applicable Internet of Things-based solutions.
Overall, Udayana University Faculty of Engineering students won five awards at the 2026 PNBRC: first place for the 3-kilogram Sumobot, second place for the 3-kilogram Sumobot, best design for the 3-kilogram Sumobot, second place for the Internet of Things, and third place for the Internet of Things. This achievement demonstrates the quality of Faculty of Engineering students in robotics and digital technology, as well as their ability to compete with students from various universities.
This achievement is the result of dedication, hard work, and ongoing mentoring within the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.
