The Bali Provincial Transportation Agency, Udayana University, and PT Satria Trans Jaya held a public transportation outreach program at SMP Negeri 9 Denpasar.

In an effort to raise awareness among young people about the importance of safe, comfortable, and sustainable public transportation, the Bali Provincial Transportation Agency, in collaboration with Udayana University and PT Satria Trans Jaya, conducted a public transportation outreach program at SMP Negeri 9 Denpasar through the Bali Transport Quest program.

This activity is part of a joint effort to foster a culture of public transportation use from an early age while supporting the development of a sustainable transportation system in Bali. Through the Bali Transport Quest program, students are introduced to the various types of public transportation services available in Bali, the benefits of using public transportation, and the important role of the community in reducing congestion and vehicle emissions. This program aligns with the Bali Provincial Government's efforts to strengthen public transportation services and encourage more environmentally friendly mobility.

During the outreach activity, a team from the Bali Provincial Transportation Agency presented the role of public transportation in supporting community mobility, traffic safety, and the importance of switching from private vehicles to public transportation. Meanwhile, PT Satria Trans Jaya, the public transportation operator in Bali, also introduced the bus service operating in the Sarbagita area and the various innovations it has implemented to improve service quality to the public.

Udayana University, through its lecturers and students involved in the Bali Transport Quest program, also provided interactive education to students on the concept of sustainable transportation, the impact of congestion on the environment, and the role of the younger generation in creating a better mobility culture for the future. The activities were presented in an engaging manner, featuring educational games, quizzes, interactive discussions, and public transportation simulations, ensuring students understood the material in a more enjoyable and accessible way.

The participants' enthusiasm was evident throughout the event. Students actively asked questions related to public transportation, travel safety, and how to utilize public transportation services available in Bali. Through an educational and participatory approach, this activity is expected to foster positive habits of using public transportation from school age.

The Bali Transport Quest program demonstrates the synergy between the government, universities, and the industrial sector in supporting transportation transformation in Bali. By increasing the younger generation's understanding of the benefits of public transportation, it is hoped that this will foster a more aware public of the importance of sustainable mobility, thereby supporting the realization of a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly transportation system in Bali in the future.
