Udayana University Faculty of Engineering Students Win 3rd Place in the Prestigious National Business Plan Competition ESKU 7 in 2026 in Kendari

Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University have once again achieved a commendable achievement, demonstrating their consistent commitment to developing academic and non-academic potential at the national level. In a competition brimming with innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit, the Industrial Engineering team won third place in the Entrepreneurship Expo and Seminar within the 2026 ESKU 7 National Business Plan Competition.


This event is a national competition regularly held to foster creative business ideas from students across Indonesia. This year, the event was held at Halu Oleo University in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The event lasted three full days, from Thursday to Saturday, April 16th to 18th, 2026, with events starting at 8:00 a.m. Central Indonesian Time and continuing through each day.


In the competition, which featured participants from various renowned universities across Indonesia, the team from the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University performed with confidence and dedication. This team consisted of three talented students from the Industrial Engineering Study Program: Muhammad Ihsanul Fatih (2305571035), Dewa Gede Yudhi Sanjaya (2505571009), and Gede Wahyu Dima Arthawa Martha (2505571018). The three successfully developed and presented a business plan that was not only innovative and creative, but also possessed sustainable value and potential for implementation, relevant to current industry needs.


Throughout the competition, participants were not only tested on the quality of their proposed business ideas, but also on their ability to develop marketing strategies, analyze business feasibility, and present before a panel of judges consisting of academics and practitioners in the field of entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the event included an entrepreneurship expo and seminar, providing participants with additional insights into the development of the business world and the creative industry in the modern era.


Winning third place in this event was certainly not an instant achievement; it was the result of a long process involving hard work, solid team collaboration, and guidance from the academic team. This achievement also serves as an indicator that Udayana University's Faculty of Engineering students excel not only in engineering but also in adapting and innovating in the field of entrepreneurship.


This achievement is expected to inspire and motivate other students to continue honing their skills, be competitive, and actively participate in various activities that support their personal development. With this spirit maintained and enhanced, it is possible that in the future, the Faculty of Engineering at Udayana University will achieve even more outstanding achievements at the national and international levels.
